Students Writing on the Original

I have assigned a Kami assignment using the external tool feature in Canvas. When my students click on the Kami within Canvas 27 of them get their own copy and everything works as intended. However, three students open what looks like a student Kami and are able to write on the original document. This writing shows up for everyone in the class. Any idea why some students would have access to write on the original and others don’t?

I’m having the same issue. I’ve had to delete and replace because I can’t remove their changes. Is there a fix for this? I think my drive settings are correct for the document.

This must be a glitch or something. I just started kami and am having the same problem and no one seems to have an answer, including the support email. Did either of you ever figure it out?
