Kami not allowing some students to add extension

Hello I work in a district that provides all of the students with a district Google Account. We have been using Kami to fill in old worksheets turned into pdfs. Recently there have been a handful of students who have gotten an error message every time they try to add the Kami extension. Please see attached image.

I have checked to make sure the students are properly logged into Google and using the correct district ID. I can see no reason why this error is showing up.

Any ideas?

Is it possible that only certain organizational units (OU) have extensions blocked?
