I’m writing to try and suggest adding an easier way to flatten annotations. My students are annotating PDF files in both Chromebooks and iPads (using Chrome web browser). While I am pushing the files out to students using Google Classroom, my students are turning work into Schoology and Canvas. Right now, in order to grade their annotations, I have to make sure they “Flatten Annotations” when they save, but then they have to export to a new document that is no longer shared with the teacher (via Google Classroom).
If it’s even possible, it would be nice if annotations were flattened automatically upon save, in the original document. Or if the new document (the exported doc) was automatically shared with the Teacher via Google Classroom.
