I have having a problem when assigning documents to my classroom. Once an assignment is created and I upload it to my Google Classrooms (I make a copy for each student), the document seems to be a live document and not protected. Students who accidentally grab the eraser tool can erase text from the document.
I have tried exporting with annotations and have tried flattening those annotations. Problem:
Once I export and flatten annotations, the document seems protected from students accidentally deleting things, but the annotations are not there for students.
How can I assign the document, protect the annotations and use it as a tool for students to write/draw and complete and still able to listen to video/voice comments associated with the document?
