Annotation Layers

#1

I am a new Kami and Chromebook user, and I am trying to use Kami with Google Classroom.
Is there a way to “lock” the layers of annotation?
Right now, a student annotates a document and turns it in; when I open the document as a teacher, I can annotate, but I can also change the student’s work.
When I return the document to the student and the student opens it, he/she can change my annotations.
Is there a way to prevent this?

Hi,

Users cannot edit annotations of other users (i.e. annotations are automatically locked). You are likely using the same Kami account, which is why you can edit. Opening into Kami from a teacher/student account does not change the Kami account, you need to login separately if using the same computer.

Yep, that’s what I was doing; finally figured it out yesterday. Thanks for the reply!
