Put toolbar at the top/bottom

Hi,

I am wondering is it possible to add an option that moves toolbar (currently on the left edge) at the top or bottom? This will be super useful for portrait monitors. I think it is common for developers and those who read papers frequently to have a monitor rotated to portrait mode.

It would be great to have the option to move it anywhere except the left side, for left-handed support expecially. Please work on this!
