Kami shuts off internet access on my Chromebook

Hello,

I liked and used Kami for my University research, but as of late every time I want to open a PDF, either from an online link or one in my computer, once the Kami tab is up (not even fully loaded) the internet is cut off. I repeated the process and replicated the results several times leaving Kami as the only variable that affects my internet access. The only solution I have after is to close the tab and restart my Chromebook. As of now, I had to uninstall the Kami extension in order to keep working.

Please let me know what can be done to fix this issue.
