I’d like to suggest some sort of toggle-able feature where, when drawing a line, it would automatically lock it onto square vertices, other line endings, and standalone dots near the cursor. It’d be useful for graphing, flowcharts, and complex shapes, such as hexagons. It could also allow for easy straight line placement, by automatically locking into either a completely vertical or completely horizontal angle. One final thing would be a sort of “direct” line placement feature, where you would simply click on one vertex or dot, then click on another, which would instantly draw a line directly between them.
