I would love to see an expansion on the feature that shows in the left-hand page preview tray how many highlighted passages there are per page.
This expansion would ideally show how many highlights and comments there are as separate numbers, and shows how many highlights of each color there are.
For instance, in the pdf shown in the attached image, the thumbnail on the left, instead of just saying “3,” would have a green “2” and a pink “1” indicating how many highlights there are of each color.
This way, I can easily scroll through page previews and find pages where I noted to look into something deeper (blue highlights, for instance) or to find key points (pink highlights).
